Durante el proceso de sujeción (al apretar el tornillo de sujeción), no se produce ningún movimiento en la superficie frontal ni en la rosca principal de la tuerca de sujeción. Esto descarta la posibilidad de que se produzcan pérdidas por fricción, lo que elimina la causa de la baja eficiencia de las tuercas convencionales.
