VERO-S NSE mini for Light Machining

Low-profile, zero-point clamping ideal for small parts and tight setups.

VERO-S NSE mini for Light Machining

Precision Meets Efficiency in Quick-Change Palletization

The SCHUNK VERO-S NSE mini is an extremely low-profile quick-change pallet system tailored for light-duty milling and small workpieces. WIth a module height of only 20 mm, NSE mini modules are perfect for compact machining centers, 5-axis applications with limited Z-clearance, or mounting multiple clamping points on a fixture plate. Operating on the same zero-point system as other VERO-S modules this vise packs a smaller pull-in force—up to 6 kN—suited for smaller parts.

Key Features
Ultra-Flat Design 20 mm in height, the NSE mini modules add very little stack height to your setup—maximizing the usable work envelope of your machine which is crucial for 5-axis machining of small parts; densely arrange NSE mini clamping points on a plate for holding many tiny workpieces at once
Ideal for Light Cutting & Small Parts Slightly lower clamping forces (up to 6 kN pull-down) compared to full-size modules make this module ideal for thin or delicate components and light machining operations
Fast Acting, Spring Clamped Clamps via spring force and opens with 6 bar of pneumatic pressure—self-locking, form-fit clamping guarantees that even if air is disconnected, the module stays locked
High Precision Zero-Point Despite its small size, the NSE mini achieves repeat positioning accuracy better than 0.005 mm
Versatile Mounting & Configurations Allows for very small or variable mounting hole patterns to be implemented on fixtures—with a variety of SCHUNK mini clamping stations, pallets, and clamping pin options, you can configure a custom solution easily

How Much Is Setup Time Costing You?

Every changeover means idle spindle time. Multi-part fixturing slashes setup frequency — so your machines spend more hours cutting and less time waiting.
