VERO-S NSE3 for Standard Machining

Precision Meets Efficiency in Quick-Change Palletization

The SCHUNK VERO-S NSE3 is a high-performance pneumatic quick-change pallet module designed for fast and ultra-precise workholding changeovers on milling machines. It represents the latest generation of SCHUNK's zero-point clamping system, featuring increased pull-down forces and enhanced module rigidity compared to the previous NSE plus series. The NSE3 enables positioning and clmaping of fixtures or workpieces in a single step, drastically reducing changeover times and boosting machine utilization, even for small batch sizes.

Key Features
Extreme Clamping Force & Stability A patented dual-stroke clamping system that achieves very high pull-down forces for rigid, vibration-free clamping, the NSE3 body is built with greater dimensional stability than past designs; it absorbs higher tilting moments and shear forces during heavy machining
Fast Pneumatic Operation (6 bar) Actuated by standard shop air at 6 bar pressure, NSE3 clamps and unclamps in seconds without the need for hydraulic boosters; spring packs provide form-fit, self-locking retention with a fail-safe design ensuring workpieces remain clamped in the event of power failure
High Precision Repeatability Utilizing short taper centering, the system positions pallets with repeat accuracy better than 0.005 mm, allowing you to swap fixtures or parts and resume machining with confidence that the zero point is unchanged
Optional Integrated Turbo Boost Built-in “turbo” function that can amplifies clamping force by up to 250% when engaged; allows you to securely hold very large or heavy workpieces by momentarily increasing the pulling force
Fully Sealed & Automation-Ready Corrosion-free and completely sealed against chips and coolant with integrated slide monitoring for open/closed status and optional sensor interfaces—perfect for automated or lights-out machining environments
