zero-point pallet system

The Swiss Modular oppSYSTEM is a zero-point locating palletization system designed to minimize CNC machine downtime by enabling rapid workpiece changeovers. It allows you to clamp parts on pallets outside the machine and then swap them into the machining center efficiently with repeatability within ±0.002 mm. By staging workpieces on multiple pallets, this system keeps spindles cutting instead of idling during changeover. The compatibility with automation further boosts productivity in high-mix or lights-out manufacturing.

Key Features
Quick-Change Deisgn Zero-point clamping mechanism lets you exchange pallets in seconds, drastically reducing setup and changeover time on the machine
Minimized Downtime Parts can be fixtured on the pallet outside the CNC machine while another part is being machined, avoiding long idle periods and increasing overall machine uptime
High Precision System achieves repeatability on the order of ±0.002 mm in pneumatic versions (±0.01 mm for mechanical); even after hundreds of thousands of clamping cycles
Automation Ready Patented construction allows pallets to be changed automatically by a robot or shuttle, enabling unmanned loading/unloading and continuous machining without operator intervention
Compatability Integrates well with Swiss Modular's ecosystem: oppSYSTEM receivers can accommodate powerCLAMP rails, triCENTRO vises, microCLAMP fixtures, or even trivaCLAMP vacuum plates, offering a truly versatile platform for all workholding needs

How Much Is Setup Time Costing You?

Every changeover means idle spindle time. Multi-part fixturing slashes setup frequency — so your machines spend more hours cutting and less time waiting.
