A modular vacuum workholding system that enables gentle, uniform clamping of flat or delicate workpieces, including thin and non-magnetic materials that are difficult to hold with traditional vises. Securing parts by vacuum pressure, clamp-induced distortion and pressure marks are eliminated, as well as a significant reduction in vibration. Full machining access to the workpiece is provided with no bulky jaws or vises obstructing the piece, making it ideal for large plates, sheet material, or finely finished components.

Gentle Clamping With distributed vacuum force, work piece deformation is prevented;  even soft or thin parts won't have pressure marks or dents
Stability Excellent stability for thin or large parts by securing the workpiece across the entire contact area, minimizing vibrations during machining
Unobstructed Machining Without traditional clamps or vises in the way, all sides of the workpiece are reachable for cutting or finishing, and loading/unloading the part is simple and fast
Various Sizes Modular vacuum plate system is made of high-strength, hard-anodized aluminum in a variety of sizes to suit different workpiece dimensions
Precise Locating Optional side-stop rails can be added for precise workpiece location
Custom Plates Raw vacuum plates are available that can be custom-machined to match complex part shapes
Dedicated Vacuum Pumps Optional Standard rotary pump is provided for continuous operation or for connecting multiple plates, and higher-capacity pumps can be supplied for demanding applications
Compatible Works well with other Swiss Modular systems such as powerCLAMP, tripoxyMINERAL, and oppSYSTEM components
